INTRO
As a print-on-demand e-commerce platform, one of Peecho's core functionalities is sending confirmation emails throughout the order flow. Customers receive an order confirmation when payment goes through and a shipping confirmation when the order leaves our print facilities.
Since Peecho positions itself as a white-label B2B print provider, we offer merchants the option to send custom email templates aligned with their brand guidelines.
THE PROBLEM
One of our larger clients uses our system to send shipping confirmations to their end-customers. However, the template was plain text only. It didn't reflect their branding or looked like a standard e-commerce shipping email, creating room for users to question their brand credibility.
On Peecho's side, our own email templates weren't ideal either. The layout wasn't optimized for mobile, where, following a global trend, most customers check their emails. Also, they had too much of Peecho's old branding, making the look and feel of purchase experience inconsistent.
SOLUTION
Brand alignment. I extracted branding assets from the client's existing order confirmation email, like typeface, text styles, color palette, and logo, to ensure consistency.
Shipping details upfront. I added full shipping information to all templates so customers could verify their delivery address. A significant number of customers enter incorrect addresses at checkout.
